Stirring the Pot

There comes a time in everybody's life when they don't mind "stirring the pot" a bit; when being PC isn't all it's cracked up to be - I'm not talking mean and malicious just for the shear sport of it - but let's not be afraid to point out the obvious, even when the truth may not be appreciated by all.  Take this image I found on a photographers sales gallery website :http://favorites.smugmug.com/YEAR2012-1/Lets-Start/i-sCbdHdH/0/M/IMG02551-M.jpg

The caption says "Whited displays her talents"  (assuming "Whited" is the girl on the horse) in a gallery label "favorites".  I think this is one image I definitely would have left on the cutting room floor!  Check out the tortured, demonic look of panic and pain on the horse's (horse or camel) face! Not only is it on the website, it's one of  twelve or so  images from 2011 that the photographer proudly labelled "favorites"!!  (Not for the horse, I bet)

Oh...and where is this girl's mom; that she allows her young daughter to go careening around on a horse WITHOUT A HELMET!!!......never mind.....just saw the event took place in central West Virginia...

How's that for stirring the pot a bit.  (Ok, so the last shot was slightly mean...)
